Students are expected to arrive on time for classes and to attend each class for the full class period.  Attendance is taken during class.  It is your responsibility to make sure that you are in class (and answer / sign the roll) each time we meet.  If you are unable to attend a class session, it is your responsibility to acquire the class notes, assignments, announcements, etc. from a classmate.  There will be no private lectures for those that missed class.


Attendance Incentive: Students with perfect attendance have an opportunity to earn TWO bonus points towards the final grade.


Excessive Absence disincentive: During class time, students may often work in their assigned group to complete one or more parts of their Group Project or other group assignments. If a student has 4 or more class absences, the student will be removed from his/her group and will automatically receive a zero on the presentation not completed.
